Scope

We are looking for a bilingual (English-Spanish) Communications Strategist Campaign Manager with team management skills, ready to lead, develop, implement, and monitor all of our campaigns and programs. You must have communication strategist and generalist knowledge to implement 360 campaigns that include media relations, political and social analysis, digital work, production, and others.

The successful candidate must have the skills and experience needed to perform the following activities included but are not limited to:

  • Work with clients in determining the best strategy, outcomes, and measures of success according to budget to build strong communications campaigns and programs.
  • Develop, implement, coordinate, and monitor the overall campaign design, project management work, communications strategy, and implementation activities for programs and campaigns, including digital campaigns, while working in a fast-paced team environment, working with multiple accounts and clients and bringing creativity to projects.
  • Managing projects, staff, timelines, and budgets assigned.  A team player, flexible, and adaptable, combined with a positive attitude, are necessary, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects, provide solutions, meet tight deadlines, and focus on details and follow-ups. Flexibility and willingness to take on routine tasks as needed.
  • Lead effective and efficient cross-functional strategies to deliver clients success.
  • Conducting market research and being up to date with the latest digital trends and project management best practices to help and implement successful strategies.
  • Develop strong relationships with staff, clients, reporters, media, and providers.
  • Demonstrated experience working on projects with social impact or social justice campaigns. 
  • Craft and produce media materials, production plans, strategy documents, reports, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience working on projects with social impact or social justice campaigns.
  • Bilingual English – Spanish written and spoken communication is needed.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Although remote, it is preferred in the Washington DC metro area. Some visits to our HQ office in Arlington, VA, or national travel may be required less than 20% of the time. 
  • The salary range for this position is $70,000, non-negotiable. 
  • This is an exempt position according to the FLSA.
