In 2023, Colorado People’s Alliance (COPA) began a crucial restructuring process for its communications department. As part of this, it sought external expertise to revamp its public-facing messaging and re-establish its presence as a leader in community organizing in Colorado. COPA turned to Communications Shop for guidance and comprehensive support throughout this rebranding transformation.
The primary goal was to provide COPA with the tools and strategies needed to strengthen their communications efforts. This involved a complete rebranding of both Colorado People’s Alliance and Colorado People’s Action, redesigning their digital platforms, and equipping them with modernized communication assets. The partnership aimed to elevate COPA’s public image, making it more cohesive, culturally relevant, and responsive to the community they serve.
Communications Shop led COPA’s and CPA’s rebranding effort, developing fresh visual identities for both organizations, including new logos, brand guidelines, collateral materials, and digital templates. Additionally, COPA and CPA’s websites were completely overhauled, giving their online presence a much-needed update. We also helped streamline their social media platforms, ensuring consistent messaging across Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube.
Training sessions were conducted to ensure COPA’s staff could maintain the brand’s updated look and feel. Communications Shop also provided ongoing media relations support and produced digital content as part of the randing launch plan to keep the organization connected to its core audience.
The rebranding process revitalized COPA and CPA’s image internally and through external communications, giving the organizations a modern, unified look that aligned with their mission and vision. This has allowed them to engage more effectively with their community and build a more powerful, cohesive message. The new websites restructured communication channels and templates, which have streamlined their outreach efforts and enabled them to continue growing their movement.
