Border Network For Human Rights

#HugsNotWalls

Communications Shop led the rebranding, content creation and media outreach, and on-site press coordination in El Paso and Juarez for the Border Network for Human Rights’ 8th edition of the historic “Hugs Not Walls” event at the El Paso-Juarez border, where the border was opened briefly to give families torn apart by cruel immigration policies the opportunity to finally hug their loved ones once again after years of separation. The 2021 event, which adhered to strict guidelines to combat the spread of COVID-19, helped briefly reunite more than 200 families.
