Alianza Americas developed with its member organizations around the nation the #SomosSalud initiative, to inform, keep communities safe and connected to resources.
Communications Shop in partnership with Alianza America produced a total of seven testimonials videos from seven cities showcasing the work of community organizations that, through the #SomosSalud initiative, helped our communities understand and overcome this pandemic.
Alianza America’s #SomosSalud initiative has been a learning platform for members to develop the role of Promotores de Bienestar or Promotores de Salud in the Latino community. These health workers engaged directly with low-income and immigrant communities to provide COVID-19 information and education to the communities to which they belong.
The video distribution plan was carried out to promote the work of Somos Salud both from an educational point of view to the community and the project’s results.
