Concerned about the growing number of Hispanics across the nation who have been directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, in April 2020 Communications Shop entered a media partnership with three Telemundo stations (New England, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C.) to provide expert advice to the Spanish-speaking community.
The National Partnership for New Americans (NPNA) and the American Business Immigration Coalition (ABIC), provided the experts, who oriented the audience on topics like services and financial support for food and essential needs; resources available in Spanish for healthcare and medical assistance for those most at risk; where to find assistance for immigrant workers furloughed or laid off during the pandemic; financial help for small businesses, among other important issues. Thousands of people within the coverage area cities got to benefit from this important and valuable information.
