For the last three years, Communications Shop has led media coverage, conference promotion, digital strategy, multimedia communications support for the largest immigration conference in the nation. In 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the NIIC was held solely as a virtual event. With Vice President Kamala Harris’ keynote remarks as the centerpiece of the conference, the NIIC 2020 featured the participation of more than 20 elected officials and 800 organizations. The conference received the highest attendance ever with a viewership of 210,000+ people and placed the NIIC and its member organizations at the center of the immigration reform debate.
